Leading independent producer and distributor of programming in the worldwide television marketplace is seeking an experienced director of production finance with a high level of initiative and drive.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus
Minimum 8 years' experience in the entertainment Industry
Minimum 5 years' experience in feature film or television production; production accounting or line producing experience preferred
In-depth understanding of union payroll, including interpretation of low budget agreements (SAG, DGA, WGA and IA)
Tax Incentive experience (MA, GA, LA, CA and CT locations a plus)
Software proficiency: PSL3, Vista, MediaWin/Web, MovieMagic
Familiarity with CAVCO requirements
ASC 926 (SOP-002)
1099 tax reporting
MS Office skills, including advanced Excel
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage financial function and budget for production and development
Oversee financial and cash flow forecasts, review and approve cash flow schedules
Manage post-production accounting, prepare journal entries in accordance with ASC 926
Oversee accurate inventory cost per unit reporting (ABC accounting)
Plan production cost verification and audits, review and report consolidated findings
Ensure production legal requirements and commitments are being met
Oversee monthly close for all production accounting activitiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
