Job
Responsibilities:
- Engage customers in a polite and professional manner when acquiring payment/information updates
- Research and resolve customer disputes in a timely manner. Collector is expected to facilitate the process to reach a mutual resolution for both the customer and the Company.
- Place delinquent accounts on Credit Hold and contact customer to advise them of the service interruption and discuss the payment required to releasing any orders.
- Review all serious delinquent accounts with the Credit Manager
- Document all collection efforts performed on each account in JDE
- Perform administrative functions such as processing credit/debit memos; RMA credits; issue non-warranty invoices; credit applications; research return mail
- Process and post cash payments daily
- Review and profile a customer's account history to grant an increase in credit limit and/or terms based on payment history or a special Roll Out order
- Assess the credit risk of existing customers on a periodic basis (annually for the largest customers).

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years experience in credit/collections
- Experience with JDE (preferred)
- Ability to type 45 wpm, and data entry of 10 key by touch
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to communicate effectively via telephone, fax, email, and correspondence
- Able to read and analyze Credit Bureau Reports
- Additional Requirements: Math Test Excel Test Typing TestEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
